Cincinnati Juneteenth Festival

Cincinnati is hosting their 25th annual Juneteenth Festival June 16-17 in Eden park. This non-profit event started in Texas and has taken flight all over the U.S. to celebrate the anniversary to the end of slavery. Cincinnati's Juneteenth festival will include history re-enactments, crafts, food and exhibits as a remembrance to those who struggled through that unforgettable time in history. Cincinnati Human Relations Commission will be celebrating this event on Saturday with our own informational booth in Eden Park. Come out and show support for the African American community with us!

Summertime Kids 2012

Summertime Kids kickoff started Monday, June 11 and will end August 3. Summertime kids is a youth program held by CHRC that will give youth memorable insight into the history of the 7 Hills of Cincinnati and help them discover areas they may not otherwise have an opportunity to discover. Our goal is to great unity between different neighborhoods, and show these young youth teamwork, and educational fun. Requirements-
Must be 10-12 years old.
Must be able to get to City Hall Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Must be a loud to take educational field trips.
