The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission (CHRC) has been selected by the National Association of Human Rights Workers (NAHRW) Board of Directors to host the Association’s 2013 Midwest Regional Conference!

The NAHRW is an organization of individuals committed to providing education, training, research, networking, and professional development to its members in order to enable them to foster equality within a diverse society. In collaboration with NAHRW, the CHRC will be bringing together other regional human relations, human and civil rights groups and individuals engaged in the improvement of intergroup relations to:

1.    Encourage the collection, compilation and dissemination of information and research among organizations.

2.    Advance the science, process and art of intergroup relations

3.    Improve the standards of work in the field (i.e., advancing technical, professional knowledge, standards and practices)

The NAHRW Annual Training Conference is the nation's leading human and civil rights workers conference. The conference is known for delivering the latest, most useful and easily implemented strategies for ridding our nation of unlawful discrimination.

For 70 years, the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission has been the “Voice of the Community” and honors its commitment every day to be a voice for the voiceless and liberate communities where prejudice and discrimination seek to reign. As the CHRC continues to connect cultures and communities during the most critical of times, the knowledge gained from this conference will serve as a springboard to examine and improve human relations in the Greater Cincinnati community.

The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission is a non-profit organization that deals with human relations issues and discrimination in the City of Cincinnati. As more details are finalized, we will be releasing that information to the community. If you have any questions, please visit the website at www.chrc.us or call the office at 513-352-3237.  The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission is honored to be selected to host the Midwest Regional Conference here in Cincinnati! See you at the conference!
