What is a Hero? Sukkah Art Exhibit Sukkot, the Jewish harvest festival, is celebrated by building a temporary dwelling called a sukkah

Beginning at sundown on 10/8/14 - nightfall on 10/15/14 is the Jewish harvest festival, Sukkot. It's celebrated by building a temporary dwelling called a sukkah. The holiday focuses on welcoming guests, caring for the environment, and taking time to be joyful. Please join us on 10/12/14 at the Mayerson JCC for a hero-themed art event to learn more about sukkot and to view all of the sukkah panels.

CHRC's Executive Director and Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator serve on  a committee entitled "In Search of  A Common Agenda: The Relationship Between African Americans & Jews in Cincinnati & in Israel", and participated in completing a sukkah panel for the Culture and Education subcommittee.
