CHRC Receives Grant for Minority Health Month 2015

The Ohio Commission on Minority Health (OCMH) has selected The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission (CHRC) to receive a grant for Minority Health Month 2015.

Congratulations to CHRC Staff: Ms. Jaime Bryant, Youth Services Coordinator and Ms. Christina Brown, Community Outreach Engagement Coordinator, on working cooperatively to complete the grant application.

In 1989, the Ohio Commission on Minority Health developed the concept of a high-visibility campaign designed to focus on health awareness and disease prevention. This 30-day campaign consists of numerous activities designed to bring participation of minorities or providers of health services to minority populations. In 2000, Minority Health Month became a national celebration.

The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission is a non-profit organization that deals with human relations issues and discrimination in the City of Cincinnati.
