CHRC AWARDED GRANT FROM THE OHIO COMMISSION ON MINORITY HEALTH!

The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission (CHRC) is proud to announce that it has received a grant from the Ohio Commission on Minority Health! The CHRC, in collaboration with Cincinnati Councilmember P.G. Sittenfeld’s office will be examining how eating habits affect our health. This grassroots effort will provide crucial information to individuals on (1) practicing disease prevention; (2) promoting healthy lifestyles and (3) gaining additional support for on-going efforts to improve minority health year round. Statistics highlight the disparate health conditions between Ohio’s minority and non-minority populations. Many of the illness suffered are because of poor eating habits and lack of exercise. The CHRC thanks the Minority Health Commission for funding this grass roots effort.
