Parenting Youth and Confronting Bullying Forum

The Office of Human Relations in collaboration with the National Underground Freedom Center, YWCA of Greater Cincinnati and the Hamilton County Community Action Agency will sponsor a forum entitled "Community Conversations: Parenting Today's Youth & Confronting Bullying" on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, 6:30-8:30pm at the Hamilton County Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Road.


The panel for this critical conversation will include:

* Reva Cosby, Superintendent of Mount Healthy City Schools; 
* Susan Graham, Director of Education with Child Focus, Inc; 
* Thomas Tucker, Superintendent of Princeton City School District;
* Local students.



Forum will address:

* the challenges parents face today, while trying to help their children navigate youth and adolescence;
* the role technology is playing in the emotional health of today's youth;
* the continuous violence and discrimination youth encounter; 
* how bullying has transformed; and 
* what parents can do to help support their children.


This event is free and open to the public.
