Community Outreach Advocates (COA) Assist Cincinnati Police Department in Overnight Shootings

CHRC’s Community Outreach Advocates (COA's) are key on-the-ground workers and work in neighborhoods adversely experiencing high levels of violence alongside residents. The COAs have responded to the 4 shootings/homicides which occurred last night and into this morning. They continue to perform street outreach in response to group/gang member involved shootings to provide crisis intervention and de-escalate community tension and comfort the family.
