October 2- 5:30-7:30 Call to Sisters Open House
                             - Please join Inspirational Artist/Poet Annie Ruth as she unveils the community engagement plans for Dada Rafiki: Sisters of Legacy, a community exhibit and programs honoring the spirit and legacy of forty (40) phenomenal women, age 65 and older, who have left their “footprints on Cincinnati history”.  For more information please call (513) 821-9027.

October 4- 7-9 p.m. International Happy Hour located at Lunar Lounge 435 Elm St.  
                             -  InterNations is the first international online community for people who live and work abroad. Connecting people with similar work schedules, interests and needs is how InterNations helps members interact with one another. October 4- 7-9 p.m. Diversity in Action located at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
                             -Find out how people in your community are making a difference worldwide and find out how to get involved. Special Guests Jenny Buccos- founder of Project Explorer will be speaking along with six other performances and speeches. (www.projectexplorer.org

October 5-6- Midwest Regional Conference for Diversity in Action 
                             - Register today for a day and a half of enlightening and educational conversations from all different cultures and perspectives. Join SCI for the Midwest regional Conference on how to make your community more diverse. Highlights include
 -  International reception celebration hosted by Mayor Mark Mallory. 
-Learn how to assess needs in your community and programs that diversify your programs. 
- Engage with new partners, such as the various chambers that are located in Cincinnati. 
- Increase your member diversity by learning new recruitment skills.
